Welcome

This is the story about me. I was born & raised in the Sunshine State. When I was 16, I wanted to be a scientist. Then I had an opportunity to go on a trip to Germany with my high school band. My parents bought me a camera for the trip. Less than a year later I fell in love with photography & landed a part time for a daily newspaper in Central Florida.

After graduating college in 2004, I moved to Highlands County to work full time at a daily paper. I covered everything from hurricanes to gator hunting to WWII veterans. I received several awards for my photojournalism and had the privilege of partaking in leadership programs. I also met my husband on the job.

Fast forward to 2008, my husband and I moved to Virginia, then 2010 to Clarksville, TN to pursue his career. I decided to take a break from photography and work in advertising and marketing in both of those markets.  I quickly became successful in that field but I still missed being behind my camera full time.

In 2013, true joy entered into our lives. Abigail Frances was born on April 3^rd. I decided go back to my career in photography but this time set my own hours so that I can also be at home with my daughter.  I have been blessed because business has been good and I have the cutest child to photograph (I am not biased of course )

When I am not behind the camera, you will find me participating with the local running club or at local races. I love to run and do triathlons. We also love to travel and have been to several countries as well as numerous states.

I am looking forward to continuing my career in photography & marketing, being my own boss and preserving your special moments.
